Advantages: exceptional application in teaching art history and culture. Links, images, and resources are all included with extensive information.
Disadvantages: Limited to a specific topic - art history and culture. Otherwise, a fantastic resource.
I'm a big fan of this site. I love being able to see high res images of artwork, without having to pay or go to a museum. It is really helpful to be able to have really high quality images when discussing a specific piece of art.
