Advantages: Resources made by classroom teachers. Flexible search functionality by grade level or subject. Teachers gain income from sharing resources. Can be reimbursed by district effectiveness funding. Free resources are available.
Disadvantages: Difficult to ascertain the quality of resources from previews and thumbnails. Some resources are un-editable. Can be pricey. Need to input credit card information.
TeachersPayTeachers is an OER I use often. Although many of the resources must be paid for, in a pinch they can be life-savers! I would highly recommend this OER!
