Advantages: Free and easy to use. Accessible on most mobile devices. Can use a camera on a device to get instant translations of things, and can use a mobile device to learn the pronunciation of a word.

Disadvantages: Grammar and translations are not perfect. Has no teaching components per se, and cannot check if the meaning of a translation is exactly what you intended.
